My cousins are the A'Bears of Wargrave in Berkshire. My father and I have been researching their ancestry for years. I can trace them in the same parish back to about 1450; but there were De La Beres in Wargrave in the 1300s and it appears that they were their ancestors. This family originally came from Herefordshire & South Wales. The A'Bears only left Wargrave in the 1920s. They now mostly live in Gloucestershire & Wiltshire.
