I am tracing my mother's family tree as her maiden name is ABBS. We know our family came from Longstanton in Cambridgeshire England. We have just been to the graveyard and seen Jonathan Abbs and Lydia Abbs grave also a Henry Abbs. Looking through my note I think Abraham Abbs who was married to Alice Hale is Jonathan's brother. Jonathan is my great great great grandfather. His father was John Abbs and his mother was Sarah Maltman. Most of this information has been obtained from the web site and I am slowly verifying it with my sister through the local records office.
