It's very possible that Coley is actually Michael Coley. I know the middle initial stands for Michael. Because Michael Abbott, Coley's grandfather, was still living(he lived into his 80s) it may have been easier to call him Coley to avoid confusion. I know I had a hard time finding him and locating a wife for him.
I believe you are the one who helped me get on the right track with George of Norwalk.
My father-in-law makes reference to Cornwall and "Cornwall's Corner". It seems he had a relative living in Cornwall, and has fond memories of playing there as a little boy. So I think there was a relationship between his grandfather and maybe an Uncle whom the grandfather lived with for a few years in Cornwall. So there is a connection to Cornwall somehow.
