James Watson Abbott was a school teacher in Meigs Co, OH (cf. 1880 census), Nobles Co, MN, Lyon Co, IA, Lane Co, OR (cf. 1900 census and other records), and Placer Co, CA (cf. 1910 census). I have not found any records after the 1910 census that can be confidently identified with him.
The Abbott family resided in IA and MN 1884-1891, Lane Co, OR 1894-1900, San Francisco, CA 1903/1904-on. From 1907 on Anna Abbott and children resided at 26 Bronte St. in San Francisco.
