I am searching for information regarding a John Abbott born 1804 in Pennsylvania. He married a Rebecca and had many children, most born in Ohio. He is listed on the 1850 Census in Wyandot, Co. Ohio with the following children: Franklin (listed as Franlin and my great-great grandfather), Henry (b abt. 1842), George (b abt. 1830), Matilda (b abt. 1831/32), Sarah (b. abt. 1835), Ezra (b. abt. 1837), John (b. abt. 1838), Caroline (b. abt 1840), and Elizabeth (b. abt 1844).
He and Rebecca migrated to Barry Co., Michigan and is listed on the 1860 census with additional children named Olive b. abt 1847, Harriet, b. abt. 1852 and Alonzo b. abt 1856.
In the Barry Co MI marriage records, I found an Ezra m. to an Ida Hoyt in 1871; a Caroline Abbott m. Isaac Randall in 1858; a Harriet Abbott m. Edward Sibbrel in 1868 and an O.P. Abbott m. Clarry E.Wilbur in 1873.
Any information would be greatly appreciated as we might be able to find some kind of connection.
