Yes, this is the same John Abbe/Abbey.
I never heard back from Jeromey Ward regarding the new information he expected from a researcher on John Abbe/Abbey's ancestors in England so I have nothing on that.
The last male Abbey in my line is John J. Abbey whose daughter Pearletta was my great, great grandmother. This branch of the Abbey family came from CT to NY and finally to McKean and Potter counties in PA.
Pearletta was born in McKean County in 1855.
I would be happy to share information with you.
