I believe we are talking about different families. My Arthur W. (William) Abbey, Jr. is the son of Arthur Sr. born Aug. 29, 1883 in St. Louis, MO. Arthur Sr. married Emma Piepenbrink. Arthur Jr. was born Sept. 3, 1919 in Somerville, Middlesex County, Massachusetts. I find both Arthur's on the 1920 census in Somerville, Middlesex, Massachusetts and in 1930 in Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa.
If my memory serves me, my Arthur Jr. is alive and living in AZ. A cousin of mine was in contact with this family, and I need to check with her to be sure. I will get back to you.
