My name is Aoife Abbey, from Dublin in the Republic of Ireland. I was just wondering if anyone knew of any Abbeys who emigrated to Ireland at any stage in the 1800s/early 1900s.
Also i recently bumped into an Abbey from West Ghana in africa. He tells me the Abbey family name is quite popular over there. Does anyone know how that came about??
