Hi Kevin.....While researching my Abbey family in Missouri I picked up the following regarding a Daniel Abbey....

(Note: This is the Daniel listed below, who married Elizabeth Manning.

SOURCE: St. James Church
Washington County, MO.
PARTIAL LIST OF BAPTISM RECORDS 1827 - 1892
ABBEY, John, s/o Daniel and Elizabeth Manning, bapt July 1, 1881, born June 24, 1881
(Priest Note: Married at Bismark MO to Mary Powers May 8, 1938)

Patricia Renshaw LaBrot has some postings on this genforum and she is researching a Daniel Abbey that ended up in Missouri - Cape Girardeau & Scott Co. Daniel was born abt. 1817 NYC., married Elizabeth (Presley) in SC.
