My information shows that George W. Abbett (b sep 7, 1801), father of Miles Craig Abbett (b. Oct 29, 1827) was the son of Miles Abbett and Mary McDowell. George W.Abbett married Mary Craig on Oct 14, 1824. George and Mary had five children: Mary Elizabeth (b Sep 11, 1825, d Dec 1897 , m James Boyd McKelvy Dec 25, 1851), Miles, Thomas C. (b Dec 6, 1835), John H. (b Apr 27, 1839), and William H. (b Jul 3, 1842).

Further, Miles Abbett (older) was born Jul 16, 1773, died Jul 27, 1839. He was the son of William Abbett and Catherine Cunnard.

I am interested in any information abour Mary Craig or Mary McDowell. Can you help?
