My earliest is Littleton Berry Abbett, b. 1825 in Georgia, married to Sarah Caroline Land, b.1831 in Morgan, Calhoun Co. GA, daughter of Solomon Land. He had a sister, Eliza,b. 1817-1820 in SC, per the Pike Co. GA 1850 Census and married J.L. Callahan.

Littleton was in the Civil War and a Prisoner of War at Camp Chase, OH. In the 1870's he took his family and moved to north Louisiana.

It seems that many families migrated together. I hope that a link may be made by looking at similar migration patterns.

What GA county did yours come from?

Thanks. Hope we can share some common info.

Jim
