Hi Cindy,
I am descended from Randolph Abbett of Miller Co., Missouri. His death certificate lists him as being born in
Kentucky, although I haven't found further evidence of that. He was married to Sarah Masters, then to Laura Barton. It is my understanding that he had a 3rd wife, as well, but have not confirmed that. Laura was mother to most of his children. In Miller County, I found another "vein" of Abbetts, spelled Abbott, that could be somehow related. Joseph is a common family name in both veins of the Abbetts/Abbotts of Miller County. I haven't been able to obtain much information beyond what I have. Perhaps we can work together in some way.
