I noticed your postings on Genforum, I am a ninth great grandson of John Abbe. My great grandmother was Melvina Gertrude Abbey, who married James Monroe Boss in Brown county IL.
I see you live in Duncan AZ, I live in Tucson. A few years back I spoke by phone with one Harlan Abbey who lived in Tempe. He has since passed.
