The Abbe family I have settled in Lorraine county Ohio. I found the information in a Library- "History of Lorraine County Ohio"
This listed Ebenezer, wife Mary Blanchard and all their children. This Eben. was the son of Samuel, b.21 June 1745 m. Temperance Lincoln. These were my children's ancestors and most of my info is about only one line from the original John Abbe of Salem (came over on the Bonaventure) The information I have contradicts two records in the Cleveland Abbey Book . Do not have any Gates in direct line but have not yet gotten in to the collateral lines in the 1840s +.
Do you have any family in Elyria, Ohio?
I suspect that all the Ohio Abbes were somehow related.
