I would have to disagree with the similarities between the Ramapough Mountain Indians and the " Oniontown" people. Unfortunately long ago many negative, and false stories were told and published about the Ramapoughs. One in particular was David Steven Cohen book the Ramapough Mountain People. This book is not an accurate history of my people. If anyone was to break down where the Ramapoughs live you don't have to fear for your life, I promise you. Sensationalized articles do not make up the Ramapoughs history. I will gladly answear any questions about the Ramapough's.
