Its my opinion that those who took the census played a big part on just how accurate they really were to getting the facts mixed with some personal view of the people they took the census of.I have also found that the Sirnames can be spelled different because of the census view of how it was spelled and not fact.Meaning that a lot of times, the census would not take the time to ask for the correct spelling and often times the people the interviewed didn't know the correct spelling so it would be left up to the census person to put his or her interpretation down.Like George here, you can find him listed under Hearold,Herald,Herrald,extra.One of his children was named Brack andf I was able to find him under Hurld,and under Frack, Brock, Brick, Breck.So just some of the obsticles we face when trying to locate folks.
