I know it's been a while since you answered my post, but things have been a little hectic, and I am just getting around to answering you.
It is good to here from another african american Muse.
I am from Maryland, and there are not many here, other than the Muses I am related to.
I am just starting my Muse search and don't have much information.
All I can share with is the following:
My father was Franklin Marshall Muse.
His mother was Ida Mae Ross who married an unknown Muse,
sometime between 1902-1930.
She is listed in the 1930 Maryland census as a widow, and as single in the 1920 Maryland census.
She had nine children five boys and four girls, all who are now deceased.,
That makes my search harder, as the man who is named on my fathers birth certificate is not a Muse, A May, and my father was adamant that he was not his father.
I would love to see some of your research, as it may lead me in the right direction.
Peace and Blessings in you search,
Donna M. Muse
