searching for ANY James MOODY's b.c1740 Maine

I am desperately searching for any info on James Moody who was born c1740 perhaps the Buxton, York Co. area of Maine, who enlisted in the Continental Army on Aug. 26, 1777 in Buxton, Maine (or MA as it was all called back then).
He died before Sept. 4, 1785 but I don't know if it was from service in some war or illness or what.
He married in 1774 Buxton, York Co., Maine to Elizabeth DONNELL and they had at least 3 children...Sarah, James and JOSEPH who were all born before Sept. 4, 1785 (when they were baptized at the Church of Christ in Buxton, Maine).
I cannot seem to locate further info on Any James Moody's except the one they wrote the book about who was from New Jersey and ended up in Canada. This is NOT my James Moody.
Thank you for any help at all.
