My husband has a powder horn that appears to have been made by Derek Ca_non....it is a map horn of upstate NY, circa French and Indian War....the map shows Hudson River from "Halve Moon" to Crown Point and the Great Lake, showing Oswego, Fort Niagra, Fort Henry, etc, and the British coat of arms among other things. I did a cursory look for a Derek Cannon (guessing at the first n), but could find nothing for him....we'd love to know if this is original, and if so, something about Derek.
