I am researching my 4th-GGrandfather, Capt. Robert Burgess, who is listed in the County Militia on Sep. 28, 1752 and Mar. 20, 1760, in the court minutes and orders from Norfolk County, Virginia. I look forward to hearing from you regarding the Norfolk County, VA Militia or Robert Burgess's family roots.
