Hi Diane,

I haven't come across Philips in my research i'm afraid. There is no list per se, which can tell you about soldiers fighting for the British. The battlefield commission is organising a list of the French soldiers for the 250th anniversary coming up in 2009. I would have thought that soldiers were buried on site, only 'important' people like Wolfe were sent home for burial. There is a small grave-yard in Quebec City where they re-buried Montcalm recently - http://xenophongroup.com/mcjoynt/quebec01.htm for details. I think only french and canadians were buried there though.

Sorry not to be able to help you more with this.

Best,

Rebecca
